Default Tattersalls Midgets

Can anyone confirm that the Matoon Imperial Motors Offy black #3 is the same as Matoon red & white #3 ? Is the car Kurtis Kraft Chassis #243 ? and what does the letter L on the front nerf bar stand for. I know Tattersal raced the #3 cars in Australia in 1962/3/4.I would be grateful for any help.

Yes it was the same car. Originally it had been purchased from Howard Linne, hence the "L" and the Black paint.

The car is now restored by Kerry Horan and is magnificent.

Thanks Chris for your reply. The info was what I needed. I also agree the car looks spectacular. Is the car only for display or will it be used at vintage events in the USA ?
Kind Regards
