Default 1/8 Modern Day Supermodified

Here's a project I've been wanting to build for awhile. These cars are the fastest thing, out there, on a short pavement oval. Up to 70% left side weight bias, 900+ HP and wings that go up during cornering and flatten out down the straightaway. Here's what I've built so far.

Thanks Chuck. Have you ever seen these cars run at Madera or they used to run at Mesa Marin back 20 years ago. Anyway I'm making progress and got it up on wheels.

Holy Cow, Bob those are cool, bitchin, I love it. I've still got to build a 1/4 scale sprint or midget. Here's what I got done today. BTW Bob, I saw a bunch of your cars on this site recently and Man, I am impressed. I would give anything for those cars.

Hey Old Sprinter, a very nice finish & you did a great job. Love the detail!!!

And yes I did see some super mods run quite a few years ago, If I remember right they were at Altamont. I believe it is now closed, it closed and reopened a couple of times but I think might have died for good. Real shame as I liked that track.

Altamont was a cool track. Got some bad reviews when they held a Stones concert there, back in the day, and had the Hell's Angles as bouncers. Didn't work out well. I'm finished with this one and am starting a Watson Indy Roadster next.
