There were three Gremlin bodied modifieds (maybe the same car but different owner) that I can remember at Lakeside. One was owned and driven by Joe Kirkwood. What was the # of that car and what did he have painted on the back of it?? Hint: A Biblical writing that was not very Biblical.

Al Starr's #7 modified had these painted next to the rear window opening.

As a joke, I painted this on the bottom (facing the ground) of Bob Brown's #77 modified, thinking that no one would know it was there. But to our surprise, Bob got the car upside down the same year and everyone got a look....what did I paint on his floorboard???

Jim Malloy owned and drove many cars, but to me his modified #16 was the pretty one of the bunch. What was the nickname painted on this car??

Jim Malloy's "Sweet 16" was a beautiful car. And Al was always rolling the dice. Joe Kirkwood's black #68 Gremlin had the same body as Lloyd Lands #10 and Larry Dechants "Fliver" that were raced as Late Models.

Roy Jackson also owned the Larry Dechant, Lloyd Land Gremlin late model as well. I think Joe Kirkwood only had the fiberglass body off it.
Greg Wilson also had a Gremlin bodied modified. Greg's car had a metal body. It was green and white #16. He sold the car to Tim McIntyre. Tim ran it as blue #60.

Darrell Taylor brought out a Gremlin modified in the '80's. It had a chassis built by Frank Denning. It had a metal body and was purple and white #93. Frank and Steve Gallegos hung a little sign from the rear bumper that said "Zoom Zoom". Darrell fastened a stuffed gremlin like from the movie of the same name to the roll bars.

Lester Kelly had "Honk" on the front of the the #15 Plymouth that Jack Thoms drove.

Ron Warthen Jr. owned the #10 Mickey Mouse figure 8 car at Englewood. The car had a Mickey Mouse head on the top of the car. Kids loved it.

I don't remember what was painted on any of my midgets.
Pete had a green midget #13 with a peanut guy cartoon on the car.

gremlins green 16 with greg wilson modified in '77. 1/2 credit for the brew crew on the 42 superstroke. my guess would be chip 'n' dale on the carelli cars.
