Thanks Dave. Chip N Dale is correct, and Browns number was painted on a piece of diamond plate. It was tough to do, but worth it.

RMMRA ... The car had Snoopy riding a skateboard painted on the nose section. The car number and car color would give it away, I think.

LAKESIDE - Late at night by the old Lakeside Speedway, you can hear the ghosts - The barking, crackling "Flathead Fords", the zinging "Chevy Stove Bolt's", The rumbling of the "KK-Offy's", and the snarling "Ford V8-60's". Listen and faintly hear the announcer say, "Ladies and gentlemen, the line up for the trophy dash," and the place would erupt with the mix echoes of cheers and boo's...Remember...

What politically incorrect saying or message by todays standards did "Poot" "The One Armed Bandit" Webb have painted on his purple and gold Camaro late model at Englewood. Today he would probably be made to remove it. It wasn't racial or sexual in content.

All right Bruce, you got it. I'm sure if somebody were to put a remark like that on a car today that the owner would be told to remove it immediately or face being banned. "Poot" was kind of amazing the way he could wheel a car with one arm.

Bud Potter's #9 had a the letters "POT" surrounded by flames on the cowl, now in my young innocent days I thought that was a nickname short for Potter but I later thought it referred to a little something else.
