Thank you, guys. I haven't ever been to a model show or contest. I build these for some USAC guys back in Indiana. When I retired, about a year and a half ago, I decided I wanted to try building model race cars from scratch and it just evolved. I had never built a model before except a few when I was a kid. Here's another one I just finished.

Wowee, I'm not only amazed at the craftmanship of these model cars, but of the realistic look of the signs and lettering that has to made to scale!!

Thank you Sir. The decals are wraps; the same stuff that's used today on real race cars. It was supplied to me by the firm that did them for the real car so they had the program and I just sent them full scale drawings of the panels and they made it all fit. It's amazing stuff; just peal and stick and it conforms to any shape and you can't tell it's not painted on. 21rst century stuff for sure.
