Default AutoRacingMemories.com is 5 years old!

It's hard to believe but AutoRacingMemories.com is now 5 years old. It seems like just yesterday Rick Wasilko was calling me on the phone asking if there was any way to save the old Colorado Racing Memories site. Since then we lost Rick and several other folks that are valuable resources to this effort.

The idea has always been simple, create a site where we can catalog, discuss, and thereby preserve our auto racing memories.

We now have over 1500 members and have accumulated volumes of interesting and rare bits of racing history on this website. Over 10,000 posts have been made. We serve over 60,000 pages per month and nearly 20,000 unique visitors!

I want to take this moment to thank all of you who work so hard to make this website such a great resource.

Here is to another 5 years!

Webby, Thanks for giving all of us this great place to hang out and share some wonderful history, I know I have spent many hours reading and remembering the good old times and learning much about some history about racecars, tracks and drivers that was before my time. Happy Birthday ARM and I hope for many more. Keep the great stories coming.

Pretty cool we've made it 5 years, no reason we can't make it another 5 and get even bigger and better, nice job all. Oh yeah, and Webby's done o.k. I guess.

Webby, It's doesn't seem possible that it's been 5 years. Time does fly when you're having fun. Thanks for giving us a place to relive our, as Bruce Springsteen put it, "Glory Days." It's been cool. Happy birthday ARM.

I'd also like to thank Webby for starting up ARM 5 years ago. Like Chris, it doesn't seem that long ago. Webby has done a great job keeping ARM fun to be a part of.
I'm not as active as I used to be on ARM, but I'm still around and check all new posts.
Thanks for all you and the rest of the ARM family have done. ~Olen

Happy Birthday ARM! It has been a quick 5 years and here's to another five years of sharing great stories and photos of the sport we all love! I've learned a lot from some real neat people on here. Thanks Eric for keeping the site going, keeping it cleaned out, and allowing us to have a lot of fun here! Future generations will enjoy this!

Eric, I wanted to add my thanks and appreciation to the list!! Having built and maintained websites myself I know the amount of work and dedication it takes and I salute you for your efforts and hard work, without which all of us nostalgia racing nuts would still be roaming cyber space without a Home!!
