Default Dail Huff passes

Dail's obituary is in todays Denver Post. Dail was a legendary car owner and builder with ERA, Dail and son Ronny ran the #165 in the sixtys and later Dail had the purple & white #166 that was driven by many great drivers. My Dad and I pit for Leo Tucker when he drove for Dail. He was a great man and will be missed.
RIP Dail
Bruce

Default Re: Dail Huff passes

I dug up these old promo flyers Englewood Speedway used to send out, there are couple shots of the #166 modified. Leo Tucker spinning what looks like a newer Malloy sidewinder supermod, maybe 1975 or 76?. I believe a 1973 shot of a sprint car style supermod, with Harry Lofgren in it, both Dail Huff cars if I'm not mistaken.
