Default Re: LARRY DECHANT - Retrospective

I bought the #100 at the top of this post from Clarence Krieger in November of 1972. It had been sitting at Clarence's for some time. Larrry let me look through his photo albums until we found a picture of the car. He really didn't remember much about. He told me they hadn't spent a lot of time building the car. He said that they had taken out the 6 banger and run an open comp or jet coupe show at CNS with a smallblock engine and blew the rear end. When we rebuilt the car for the 1973 Lakeside season I bought a 302 from Larry. It was one the strongest engines I ever owned and I've had some good motors. I still have the frame to #100.
