Default and a question

I am 47 yrs. old and am in the mobile home buisiness.I joined you fella's to share my storie and maybe encounter someone that has memories of the race in Oklahoma at the Fair Grounds in 1949 in which mt grandfather was killed . He drove his opened midget in the feature that night and from what i understand was clipped going into the #3 turn and flipped out through the grandstands. his name was Arbra Leon Peavy any insight would be greatly welcomed.

In Bill Hill's book "One Tough Circuit, Midget Racing in America's Heartland" published in 1998, on page 188 a short paragraph,
"In 1949 Leon Peavy, of Dallas, was killed on the quarter mile at the fairgrounds when he struck the rear of Carlos Langston's car and flipped through a fence."
That's all I could come up with at this time.
