Don was definitely a Colorado racing legend, as well as all over the country west of the Mississippi where he successfully campaigned his beautiful #1 late models for many years.

There's a nice article about Don on the CARC website www.modcoupes.com by Paul Brendenberg. The CARC is where Don started his long illustrious racing career. We raced late models with Don Sr. and Donnie Jr. all over the west and they were always a threat to be quick qualifier and win the race, but more important than that they always did it with style and class. Don will be missed........

Had some questions about CARC honorees, here is the most current list

COLORADO AUTOMOBILE RACING CLUB, Inc.
LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP

The highest honor that can be bestowed upon a C.A.R.C. member is that of being voted a Lifetime Member by the General Membership. This honor is given to men and women that have gone “ABOVE AND BEYOND” the call of duty in service to the club. The people listed below have been given that honor. On the 67th Anniversary of the Colorado Automobile Racing Club, we acknowledge their service to both the Club and the sport of auto racing
