my dad was good friends with fritz {fred} and donny wilson we use to go over to donnys house in north denver and see one of his race cars they were very cool people i rember one race at englewood speedway he fliped his car and it stoped on its roof so they stoped the race they rolled his car over back on his wheels he started it and finished the race when you were a kid and seeing that that was preaty cool it broke my heart when i saw this in the news paper RIP fritz your the best

Haven't covered any of Fritz's adventures in the Midgets yet.....

Here's a few I found in a 1972 RMMRA program.


(Leroy Byers Photo) The Wilson brothers, Don #55 and Fritz #53 battle it out on the
Lakeside oval in 1972.




(Leroy Byers Photo) Fritz Wilson #53 tries the inside of Steve Troxell #95.




(Leroy Byers Photo) Fritz Wilson #53, Jim Tunstead #47 and Frank Mantello #93
during Midget action at Lakeside.


I always wondered, and Mitch might know the answer to this one:
Which Wilson brother had the most RMMRA wins, Donnie or Fritz??
