Default Re: Lakeside Speedway - Denver Colorado

I swam in both Berkeley Lake and the indoor Lakeside pool. One day back in the late fifties several of us decided to drive down to Denver from western Nebraska to try out some of the pools in the area and those were two on the list. Splash dives were high on our list of pool shenanigans so we wanted to see what kind of stuff was going on in the city. Seems like that should have been on a Sunday since I don't think I'd have missed a chance at hitting the races at Lakeside in the evening. Fun memories.
