Default Great looking sprint cars!

I must confess, I have not set foot into a speedway in 5 years, but....if sprint cars still looked like this, I'd crawl on broken glass to watch them race.

Duane "Pancho" Carter in Steve Stapp's car on his way to winning the 1976 USAC National Sprint Car title, at Terre Haute, IN.

Rich Vogler in Junior Knepper's sprinter, 1979 at Terre Haute, IN. Another USAC National Sprint Car show.

I agree Mitch, even though my last midgets had wedge hoods.

I've always regretted putting a wedge hood on my midget, the Barnett I bought had a perfectly good Edmunds hood on it. Guess I got caught up in the "me too" movement of ugly wedge hoods.
