Default Vintage display in Sydney AUS.

Yesterday I attended a static and mobile display of vintage midgets.
Here are some idea of the standard required by that club for display.....
Locally built cars...

Ready to go on the big 1/2 mile

You may remember this car from your part of the world...

Another of the many American imports on display....

Beautiful display Bob, that's the only way that I can see these is when someone like you shares them with us.

You show me yours and I'll show you mine!
I think there were about 30 cars in attendance yesterday.
A couple more beautiful midgets....

The replica of George Tatnell's Offy wedge midget. The original was banned back in the day by the local Officials for being too fast. It was probably also the fact that it looked like nothing esle and was not pretty.
This car is now in controversy as it is a replica and not the original. We all know that...I just happy someone took the time and MONEY to preserve history.

Hey Jerry Lee,
Good spot....I watched him bolt them on before he took the car out on the cinders.! The owner doesn't want the paintwork damaged.
These guys love their cars!
