Central Illinois Speedways
Does anyone have any stories or pictures from any of the speedways in Central Illinois? Godfrey, Sunset, Tri-City, Jacksonville, Little Springfield, Belle-Clair or Pittsfield Speedways. I have started collecting programs and info from these tracks awhile back. Drivers like Wib Spalding, Page Baker, Seets brothers, Ron Milton, Strandriges from Springfield, Jerry Russell, Frances "Wild Man" Kelly,
 Donnie Beechler......

I know where some of these people are. The Standridge brothers are still around racing Rick races dirt latemodels in Illinios, Randy is the flagman for the MOWA sprintcar series, Ron started driving sprints again this year, Robbie is driving sprints also. Rick has a son Rich who also races. Ron has a son Jeremy who races sprints and is one of the people who got MOWA started. Jerry Russell started Eagle chassis a few years ago which was sold to an assie. Jerry has a son racing mini sprints. Donnie Beechler has been racing a USAC dirt champ car.
