Welcome to the site Max . I spent many nights watching that Falcon go around PPS . Please put some photos of the car on here if you have some . Theres a big group of PPS fans on this site and some former drivers . You can go to the Pikes Peak Speedway thread , or the Sportsmans thread , or the Ronny McDowell thread and see some of their posts . Bill Walter just joined the site a few days ago .

Diddo on watching that blue falcon at pps...by the way mike, How do I get to those three sites you spoke of...I have been looking all over here trying to find them. I finally found Bill, He sent me a few pictures and There is even one where I am in the picture standing beside his #83 green 55 chevy. Good stuff on here. Where are you now. I am in Idaho and still racing.

Bill, that picture on your avatar with the checkered flag. I think that was the night that you won and had to get the trophy from Marsha. I was there that night, if that is the picture from that night. I think she was the T girl on that occasion.

Max-

Good to hear about you. I made a note on here somewhere. I've lost track of most everyone since I moved to the Denver area in 1976. I have a street rod, and am trying to build a car for Bonneville.

I'm just getting started, but it is a 1953 Studebaker coupe. Hopefully next year. It's really different from the "old dats" when you could build a car in a couple of weeks.
